The VHA owns and/or manages subsidized housing for over 2,500 low-income elderly, disabled, and family households. In addition, the VHA partners with nonprofit and private sector partners to provide emergency shelters, service-enhanced housing, workforce housing, and opportunities for first-time homebuyers.
Mission Statement
The mission of the VHA is to provide opportunities to people who experience barriers to housing because of income, disability, or special need, in an environment that preserves personal dignity and in a manner that maintains the public trust.
